    Off-line Credit Card Processing

    This is a good option if you currently have a Merchant Account with a local bank. Your customer's credit card information is captured and stored on our server for later authorization and transaction processing through a traditional card swipe terminal or through a computer. However, if you are clearing more than 100 transactions a month, you may want to consider the real-time payment processing option.

    Real-time payment processing enabled by Merchant Accounts

    To process credit cards transactions in real time through your website you need to either (1) Open a Merchant Account with a financial institution; OR (2)Sign up with a payment gateway, for example, Card Services or CyberCash

    We offer Merchant Accounts (LinkPoint Virtual Payment Gateway) through CardService International. Please refer to our website for prices.

    Merchant Accounts give you the ability to take credit card information from your prospective customers over the Internet. Miva Merchant (E-Commerce shopping cart) offer seamless integration with the CardService online payment gateway, providing you with a completely integrated e-commerce solution.

    Secure your Ecommerce website

    When you are accepting credit card and other sensitive information online, you will need to make sure that all information are routed through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted connection. We offer 128-bit encrypted SSLs through GeoTrust that can be purchased for an additional fee. If you are on the shared hosting Ecommerce plan, we also have a SSL installed on the server that is available for you to use for free.
    We offer Miva Merchant, one of the most popular, robust, scalable, and easy-to-use browser-based storefront and catalog development systems available. To help you set up shop immediately we provide you "cut & paste" options for the necessary account configuration information.     You can upgrade/downgrade your hosting plan in the same series of shared hosting plans seamlessly. If you have a name-based plan and want to upgrade to an IP based plan, an IP will be added to your account and DNS will update to reflect the new IP. If you are downgrading from an IP based account to a name-based account, we will setup the name-based account for you and you will need to reupload the files and re-add the email users to the new account through your control panel. Upgrades/downgrades from one IP-based account to another is seamless.

    If you want to upgrade your hosting plan to another plan on a different series of plans (different server/control panel interface) then we will setup the new account and you will have 7 days to reupload files to the new account. You will also need to re-add the email users and modify Name Servers to point to the new hosting account. After 7 days we will disable the older hosting account. We do not move files for you if you are changing to a different series of plan that what you currently have.

    No setup fees are charged when you are changing between two shared hosting plans if the setup fee is equal for both plans. You are charged the difference in the setup fee in you are upgrading to a shared hosting plan with a higher setup fee that your existing plan.
